 Buying/Selling Property

Buyers are required to complete the following in order to obtain water:

  1. Sign an Affidavit of Compliance

  2. Complete an Application for Water Service

  3. Submit the former owner’s SCMWC Stock Certificate

  4. Pay a $50 water transfer fee

Sellers are required to complete the following in order for Buyers to obtain water:

  1. Surrender your SCMWC Stock Certificate to the buyer

  2. Inform buyers of lot or cabin that shareholders are required to use water in compliance, with the Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws, and Uniform Rules and Regulations.
